“Without labor, nothing prospers.” - Sophocles
This is a brief summary of my labor
I am a recent computer science graduate from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. My concentrations were in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction. In addition to software development in general, my interests lie in augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and mobile development. The two things I value the most are innovation and good teamwork. I have had the pleasure of working on cutting-edge and meaningful tech with great teams through the course of my career and I am always looking for more opportunities to do so.
The summer after my sophomore year, I was a software enginnering intern at NCR Corporation where I worked on an AR iOS application to increase customer engagement and an App Clip for their whitelabel application for iOS 14. Additionally, I have been working in Dr. Thad Starner's lab at Georgia Tech as an Undergraduate Researcher where I developed AR applications for the Microsoft Hololens , Magic Leap One, and Google Glass and conducted empirical comparative studies, analysed data, and performed hypothesis testing on a study comparing them against the industry standard. I was the second author on a paper on this study published at ACM HotMobile, and also based my undergraduate thesis on this. I was also involved in research on AI through symbiosis in the same lab, which can be read about here. In addition to this, I was the Head Teaching Assistant for CS 3510: Analysis of Algorithms, the President of the GT iOS Club , and the Co-Founder and Secretary of the GT Mixed Reality Club. These leadership positions helped get a chance to join and serve as the External Relations Chair of the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honors Society at Tech.
In the summer after my junior year, I interned at Apple, where I worked on multiple intern projects, some of which were presented at WWDC 2022 for What's new in App Clips and also selected as one of eigth SWE interns selected to present to the Senior VP of Software Engineering. In my senior year, I was recognized with the Most Outstanding Legacy, Leadership Award (FKA: Most Outstanding Senior Award), given a highlight reel at graduation , and just had an overall great time enjoying the college experience post covid restrictions!
Since graduation, I have have been building new features for Safari, App Clips, and Code Scanning at Apple. While some are still in stealth, some of my notable projects include Safari's first ever widget on iOS and macOS, the ability to listen to a page using Siri, separating your browsing experiences through Safari's profiles, scanning and compressing URLs and App Clip Codes for the Vision Pro, amongst others.
And there will be a lot more to share soon!
